We are excited to announce the return of Boys U14, and High School A / B summer travel teams headed by boys Travel Team Coordinator, Coach Roger Welton.  Coach Roger will be head Coach of the High School A team and is assembling a coaching team comprised of high school coaches, former college players, and current college lacrosse athletes to provide our players the best lacrosse training experience in Brevard County.

U14 travel team will be managed by Boys Director, Jen Kearney. 

Tryouts will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm at Viera Regional Park (VRP).  Tryout is mandatory for anyone interested in playing on these highly competitive and skilled teams.

We are excited to have Coach Roger back along with his passion for Coaching and love of the game!

Coach Roger was a 4-year starting midfielder at Montclair State University, 2-year team Captain, and earned two first team All-Conference honors.  During his playing tenure at Montclair State, the Red Hawks were two-time East Coast Athletic Conference champions.  

Coach Roger was also the founder of the Viera-Suntree Lacrosse Club (later rebranded Space Coast Lacrosse) and served as its President for 12 years.  He has coached Boys and Girls at every level from youth through high school and tallied four (4) major tournament championships and several finals appearances in the high school A Boys division.

SPRING REC SEASON

For ages 7 to 15 years.

Excited to announce for the Spring of 2024 the Space Coast Lax Boys Recreational Program will be affiliated with a newly formed alliance called the Treasure Coast Youth League.  

The league includes clubs from Boynton Beach, Jupiter, Martin County, Stuart, Vero Beach, Viera and Wellington with the goal of providing competition in a fun and professional environment.

Full equipment required:  Helmet, Stick, Chest Pad, Arm Pads, Gloves, Cleats, Protection Cup and Mouth Piece 

GAMES:

Games will be played starting Feb. 24th through May 4th. Opening Jamboree will be held in Stuart on Feb. 24th and our end of Spring season will be held in Jupiter on May 4th. First Friday night light games will be held in Vero Beach on March 1st.

Sunday Practices will be held at Viera Regional Football Fields: 12pm-1:30pm
